Two weeks ago I presented my five nominees for Game of the Year, but I'm going to recognize some specific areas of gaming.

Most Addicting Game: Minecraft

Once you got into Minecraft there was no stopping you.

Best Arcade/Downloadable Game: Limbo

Limbo is just a great game to play through. A creepy side-scroller that is really very unique artistically, but sticks to the basics of its genre.

Best Narrative: Red Dead Redemption

Rockstar provided an amazing story in this set in probably the most impressive open world in any game to date.

Best Single Player: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

There's not much between Assassin's Creed and RDR in this category. Both present great stories and tons to do outside of the narrative. However in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood you can perform aerial assassinations and that never gets old.

Best Multiplayer: Call of Duty: Black Ops

There's no question about this one. It's still early, but Black Ops may just be the best Console multiplayer to date.

Best Character: John Marston, Red Dead Redemption

He's awesome and Britt5091 thinks he's hot.

Pasta's Game of the Year

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

After weighing all the options, it became clear to me that Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the best game this year. Its tremendous single player along with a unique multiplayer make it the best gaming experience of 2010.
