Wizard Rock... BEDA again

For the third time I am attempting BEDA. I'm really going to try not only to complete it like the past two, but also to have most of the posts be, you know good. I'm trying to map out a bit, but this is what I have so far (it's a little better than that now.)

Shit has gotten crazy here in the past couple days. Hopefully things will calm down a bit (preferably a lot.) I'd prefer my posts not turn into bitching sessions*.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last Thursday, I went to my third Wizard Rock show of the summer. I went to see Lauren Fairweather, The Whomping Willows, Justin Finch-Fletchley and Tonks and the Aurors in Cincinnati.

As you would expect it was a great time. It was great to see Lauren, Matt and Justin again and of course the additions of Steph made the show even better. It's also nice that there are starting to be some familiar faces when I go to shows.

In the room in the Library where the concert was there were a bunch of chairs stacked in the back. While we were standing around before the concert, some people started pulling the chairs down to sit. Steph was rather annoyed with this. She opened here set by saying that Standing is the first rule of Wizard Rock. It was great, most people stood and came up front and we were able to rock out.

I took a few pictures:

And of course I had to pick up a Tonks and the Aurors water bottle:

On this trip I think I found a pretty awesome road with hills and curves. It looks like it would be fun if I ever have a car worth pushing the limits on an awesome road. On the drive home I passed the Girls Gone Wild Bus on I-71. They didn't want to party with me though ;-).

Thanks for reading

  1. Sounds like a fun show! Good luck with BEDA. Despite blogging pretty much every day ever (and usually more than once), I think I'll probably jinx it if I try BEDA haha.

  2. I'm super jealous of the number of wrock shows that seem to go down in your neck of the woods.
